4. Payment & Pricing
All prices are listed in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed securely through Digistore24 or other authorized payment providers.
You agree to pay the full price for services at the time of purchase unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content, materials, and intellectual property created by KCL Academy remain the property of KCL Academy until full payment is received.
- Upon full payment, you receive ownership rights to your completed book or audiobook project.
- KCL Academy retains the right to use anonymized project samples for marketing or portfolio purposes (unless you request otherwise in writing).
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and materials required for your project
- Respond to communication and approvals in a timely manner
- Refrain from submitting illegal, defamatory, or copyrighted content you do not own
Failure to provide necessary information or cooperation may delay or void delivery timelines.
7. Delivery & Revisions
Project timelines are estimated based on scope and cooperation.
Revisions are provided as described in your service agreement or product listing.
Significant project changes after delivery may incur additional fees.
8. Refunds
Our refund terms are outlined in our Refund Policy (see below).
In summary: due to the custom and creative nature of our services, refunds are limited and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
9. Limitation of Liability
KCL Academy is not liable for:
- Any loss of data, revenue, or opportunity resulting from service use
- Errors or delays caused by third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon KDP, Audible, ACX)
- Indirect or consequential damages of any kind
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question.
10. Confidentiality
All client materials, manuscripts, and content are treated as strictly confidential.
We do not disclose, share, or resell any content or personal data to third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
