At KCL Academy, customer satisfaction is important to us.
However, since our services involve custom creative work (book and audiobook production), refunds are limited and must meet certain conditions.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered only if:
- You cancel your order within 14 days of purchase and before any project work has begun, or
- A duplicate payment was made by error, or
- There was a verified technical issue preventing delivery (e.g., failed file access, incomplete delivery)
Once work has begun — such as writing, editing, or recording — no refunds are possible due to the labor and creative effort already invested.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at kclacademy@yahoo.com with:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Purchase date
- Reason for the request
We will respond within 5 business days and, if approved, issue a refund via the same payment method used for purchase.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds cannot be granted for:
- Completed or partially completed projects
- Dissatisfaction with creative style after project approval
- Failure to provide required information or materials
- Change of mind after delivery
- Products purchased through affiliates once fulfilled
5. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Under EU law, you may have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days unless you explicitly consent to service delivery beginning immediately.
By purchasing a “done-for-you” creative service, you agree that work may begin right away, thereby waiving the right to withdraw once the service has started.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days through Digistore24 or our payment processor.
